An Important Notice Regarding Solicitations
The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 5.102 requires Federal agencies to make all solicitations available electronically.
Upcoming Work and Preliminary Plans
Notices of upcoming WFLHD construction projects are posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site with summary information (with links to FBO) available here on this website.
Automatic Notifications
If you want to receive automatic notification of any changes to a project, register on FBO. To register, select the "Watch this Opportunity" button and follow the steps. You will need to do this for EACH project.
Interested Vendors List = Plan Holders List
The "Interested Vendor List" (IVL) replaces the "Plan Holders List". Access the IVL for all of our projects through the FBO website. To register as an interested vendor, select the "Add me to Interested Venders" button and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. You can view the IVL by selecting the green tab labeled "Interested Venders List".
Solicitation Documents for Advertised Projects
Solicitation documents are only available through the FBO website. You can access the project link through this website by selecting the Advertised Projects section. Select a project title to view the details.
The solicitation documents include:
- The Invitation for Bids (IFB) or the Request for Proposal (RFP): includes bid schedule, solicitation provisions, contract clauses, wage rates, special contract requirements, permits, and storm water pollution prevention plan.
- Plan sheets
Paper Copies of Plan Sheets
Paper copies of the plans are often available. If so, a plans request form will be posted on FBO. Submit the completed form by fax (360) 619-7932 or email wfl.contracts@dot.gov.
Amendments to Solicitations
All amendments to solicitations will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. To receive automatic email notifications of amendments select the "Watch this Opportunity" button and complete the information for each construction project you select. By registering, you will automatically receive emails alerting you to access the site and view the changes/download amendments.
