TO "DRIVE THROUGH" (Existing Ground)
- You must have created the 3D triangle file.
- You must have the Existing Ground Profile created and stored in COGO.
Open the 3D triangle file and...
- Select "View Attributes" in MicroStation and:
- Toggle "Camera" ON.
APPLICATIONS > GEOPAK ROAD > 3D TOOLS > DRIVE THROUGH
This brings up the "Geopak Drive Through" window.
- Complete the dialog box fields. Currently, ELEMENTS is the only option available.
Step Increment is the increment (in master units, ie., feet or meters) to "step through" the 3D model.
Target Offset, is how far down the road you want to view. To look backward in the model, simply key in
a negative number here. If you simply want to start at the beginning...press Locate Starting
Point. A new option to this dialog box is the ability to look right or left rather than looking
straight down the roadway. Either move the "slide bar" at the bottom of the dialog box left or right,
click inside the field of the slide bar for left or right, or simply key in the angle to view in the field at the
bottom left portion of the dialog box.
- When complete press APPLY.
NOTE: Currently there is a bug in the "Step through"
routine. If your next cross section to view from is not exactly the same as the "step increment" you will
get beeped. You may have to just play with this and be patient for a bug fix.
