Update for October 29, 2009
NOTE: There will be a project update meeting on November 4th at the Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge Conference Room 6:30pm to 8:00pm or ?. The main objective of this meeting is to present the “new” project and discuss the road opening / closure schedule for this road construction. The “new” project will connect the current Little Salmon River Bridge project with the current Salmon River Road project and also includes extending the road construction from the Lake Creek Bridge to the Spring Bar Campground.
For the week of November 2nd to November 6th the Contractor will be working days. At Wall 3: backfilling the wall and installing a drop inlet and culvert. Various other project related tasks including installation of drop inlets, culverts, and possible utility work may be accomplished as time permits.
There is no work planned for Friday, November 6th. Road open to the public starting Thursday the 5th at 6:00pm.
There is no night work planned for this week.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs and temporary traffic signals placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
