Update for March 25, 2010
For the week of March 29th to April 2nd the Contractor will be working days and nights. Day work forming and placing rebar for Wall 6 along with a concrete pour. Also, continued subgrade work, “pecking” rock slopes, and possible utility vault and/or drop inlet installations time permitting. Night work will consist of hauling stockpiled waste material to the waste area across from the Riggins Rodeo Grounds, “pecking” away at rock slopes, and various other project related work as time permits.
The Contractor plans on working nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) this week. Be aware of the road construction opening / closure schedule for night work.
For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs and temporary traffic signals placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
