Update for December 16, 2011

Following is the Contractor’s tentative work schedule for the week of December 19th through December 24th.

Salmon River Road (3), Short’s Bar to Lake Creek Bridge Primary Focus:

  • Possible sign installation. Should be no traffic delays.

Salmon River Road (5), Lake Creek Bridge to Spring Bar Campground (Extension) Primary Focus:

  • Continue at the Allison Creek source producing Class 4 and Class 6 Rip Rap
  • Tie in and splice temporary phone line from the Hot Springs Bridge to Spring Bar Campground
  • Possible work on the Rip Rap Embankment at Spring Bar
  • Possible work on the shoulder buttresses near the Hot Springs Bridge and Allison Creek
  • Possible culvert installation

Note: Idaho Power will be working on the road on Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th. No delays to public traffic are expected.

On Sunday, December 18, 2011, a planned power outage is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm and be restored by 4:00 pm. This outage will affect all upriver residents along the Salmon River Road.

Construction Schedule

For those of you planning on visiting the area to camp, hunt, fish, and/or just to enjoy the area, the Salmon River Road may have changed since your last visit, so please be cautious and patient when traveling through the construction area and abide by the signs and temporary traffic signals placed for your safety, and everyone else’s safety also.
